RNC STATEMENT ON OBAMA'S VISIT TO THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Spokesperson Nathan Brand released the following statement on Barack Obama's visit to the White House:
“There is no bailing out Joe Biden. But who better to accompany Biden and the Democrats to losses in the midterms than Barack Obama. Biden is yet to understand that relying on social media influencers, TikTok posters, and Netflix producers like Barack Obama will do nothing to stop him from leading his party into the gutter this November.”
Background:
- After two years of Barack Obama in the White House, Republicans netted 63 seats in the House of Representatives in the 2010 midterms.
- To compare, Obama's approval was in the high 40s in April of 2010, while Biden's now sits at just 41%.
- Obama privately admitted that he had low confidence in his former Vice President, saying “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up.”
