Volunteers Knock On 400 Doors During The Day Of Action!
About 25 volunteers gathered at FCGOP headquarters to participate in in 100 Days of Action on Saturday, July 31st, to mark the 100-day countdown to election day. The event was organized by NCGOP Field Director Luke Maybin in coordination with the Forsyth County Republican Party.
The volunteers went door-to-door to campaign for candidates for school board, general assembly, and county commissioner. Volunteers knocked on about 400 doors before the end of the day.
“That is a massive impact for all of our Forsyth Candidates,” said Maybin via email. “As you know, shifting just a few votes per precinct can mean the difference for a municipal or state race. It is easy to see that the work we all put in, will make a huge difference on Election Day for our candidates up and down the ballot.”
More Days of Action will be planned soon to help ensure that the coming red wave includes Forsyth County republicans.

The Targeted Outreach Committee is planning to honor our firefighters and police in memory of 9/11. We will bring them goody bags with snacks and a thank you note in each bag, as we did last year. Our goal is to pack and deliver 500 goody bags and we can use your help in several ways:
- Donate items for the goody bags such as granola bars, small packages of chips, crackers or pretzels, candy, or small 10 oz bottled water (the large ones won't fit in the goody bags). Items or cash donations can be dropped off at FCGOP Headquarters, at the Forsyth County Republican Women's Meeting on August 25.
- Help stuff the goody bags on Wednesday, August 31, 10 am-12 pm at the FCGOP Headquarters Building, 300 Jonestown Road.
