REPUBLICAN RUNDOWN

July 16, 2021

Vol. 2, No.9

CHAIRMAN'S CORNER

Ken Raymond, Chairman

Hello everyone. We’re more than halfway through the year and the FCGOP has made great strides towards preparing for 2022.

Our standing committees which include our Local Government Watch Committee, our Finance Committee, our Voter Integrity Committee, our Fundraising and Events Committee, our Voter Registration Committee, our Targeted Outreach Committee, and several others are staffed with hard-working volunteers each involved in the activity they feel most passionate about.

There’s always room for more. So, if you feel strongly about a specific aspect of government, or the election process, feel free to join us!

And although we are making great progress, there is still a lot of work to do—especially in precinct organization. Our success, in 2022, relies heavily upon strong precinct organizations. We need precinct chairs that will maintain lists of republican and unaffiliated voters within their precincts; we need our chairs to find neighborhood captains that will help get out the vote during early voting and on election day; we need precinct judges that will serve at the polls on election day; and each precinct needs observers, poll workers, and greeters to help influence undecided voters and inform voters that are unfamiliar with our judicial candidates.

And we need this within all 101 precincts in Forsyth County!

On Saturday, July 31st at 5 pm at Jack Warren Park in Lewisville, the FCGOP is hosting a Summertime Sizzler BBQ for all our precinct chairs in the Clemmons-Lewisville area. We’re selling BBQ plates and getting together to have a little fun.

And even if you don’t live in the Lewisville-Clemmons area—YOU’RE INVITED!

And after you get your fill of BBQ, we’re going to review how our precinct chairs can build their precinct organizations and answer any questions you may have.

I’ll see you there!
