YOU HAVE 30 CHANCES TO WIN IN THE FCGOP 30 FOR 30 GUN RAFFLE!
The Forsyth County GOP has begun its annual 30 for 30 Gun Raffle in which ticket holders have 30 chances to win high-quality firearms or ammunition from Atlas Firearms in Winston-Salem. Money raised will be used to help republican candidates in 2024.
Tickets are being sold between now and the end of July at $30 each or the discounted price of $100 for four tickets. The tickets are number from 000 to 999. The drawing begins on August 4th based upon the NC Pick 3 Daytime Lottery drawing to determine the winning ticket each day until September 2nd.
Additionally, the FCGOP will host the 30 for 30 Gun Raffle Picnic on Saturday, July 22nd from 12:30 pm until 3:30 pm at 4th of July Park at 702 W. Mountain Street in Kernersville. Catering will be provided by WS Wings N Fins Food Truck. Menu items include chicken wings, fish, shrimp, French fries, fried okra, soda, and much more.
Tickets will be available during the picnic and the keynote speaker is Tyres Tatum, President of the NC Federation of Republican Men and well-known advocate of the second amendment. Other speakers include candidates running in 2024.

There is a lot going on right now with the Forsyth County Republican Party, including the State Convention, an upcoming gun raffle, a summer picnic, club activities, new club leadership, and a police appreciation event. Please see the items below to learn how you can get involved and support the Republican Party in our county!
LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers are needed to serve in these important roles. Chairmen will organize their committees and also attend a Central Committee meeting on the fourth Monday evening of each month. Please contact party Chairman Ken Raymond at

Precinct Organization Chair
This committee recruits, trains, and organizes volunteers to serve as precinct chairs. The chair will maintain an effective organization in each precinct in the county. The volunteers will work as precinct officials, greeters, observers, and help get out the vote. This committee reports to the FCGOP Vice-Chairman.
Election Integrity Chair
This committee focuses on the local and state Board of Elections to assure compliance with voter election laws to help maintain the security and integrity of elections. It also works with the Local Government Watch Committee and helps with hands-on training of polling officials. This committee reports to the FCGOP Chairman.
Local Government Watch Chair
This committee organizes individuals to attend and/or monitor local government meetings, such as the school board, the city council, the county commissioners and the local board of elections. They are also responsible for establishing a working relationship with the members of these boards. The committee members will keep the public informed of government activities. This committee reports to the FCGOP Vice Chair.
NC STATE CONVENTION JUNE 8-11
This year's NCGOP Convention will be held at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro. Invited Speakers and Major Guests include Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Ron DeSantis, Ralph Reed-Founder and Chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, and Chief Justice Paul Newby. For more information on registering to attend, go to https://www.ncgopconvention.org. Delegates who attended the Forsyth County convention in March may attend as a delegate. Other Republicans may attend as a guest.

POLICE APPRECIATION EVENT
The Community Engagement Committee (formerly Targeted Outreach) is planning a Police Appreciation Event in the month of July. We will be bringing goody bags and thank you notes to our local police stations and the Sheriff's Office. We will need donations of packaged snacks and small water bottles or monetary donations to buy these items. We will also need volunteers to help put the goody bags together and deliver them.
