Poll Observer Sign Up:
We are providing our sign up form for Election Day observing and hope you will go to the link below. By providing all of your contact information, we will submit your name (five days prior to serving) to the Forsyth County Board of Elections. If you have any questions or concerns, you may call Joan (336.671.0005) or Pat (336.705.2359). Poll Observers volunteer to work a 4 hr shift. You will notice that we are actively trying to fill the shifts in the precincts where we do not have a lot of Republican judges. So please take the time to sign up for as many shifts as you can. We especially need to have Poll Observers in the early shift (8am) to witness the machines and in the evenings to witness the count at close of the day.

Judge Sign Up:
The FCBOE still needs Judges; unfortunately, people are cancelling out to serve. Please call Joan at 336.671.0005 ASAP or call the FCBOE @ 336.703.2800 and ask for Karen. If you are a Precinct Chair, we need you to JUDGE.
We also need 150 Polling Assistants. This is a great way to learn and serve. The pay is $120 per day and you will need training. It's imperative that we fill these positions. Remember: you can win it on the outside but lose it on the inside. He who counts the votes is important!

Multi-Partisan Assistance Team Sign Up:
This role pays $12 / hour plus mileage. The MAT team goes to assisted living and nursing homes to work with voters getting absentee ballots.

VOTER INTEGRITY COMMITTEE
Thanks to everyone who attended our NCEIT Training last Saturday. What a great turnout and a wealth of information to absorb. A special thank to our trainer, Chairman of Lee County and one of the best grassroots organizers in NC, Jim Womack. Please go to https://nceit.org/ and sign on to be a member: it's FREE. Then, call US at 336.724.6000 or go to our website and volunteer to join our own Voter Integrity Committee in the ongoing battle to gather information, do the necessary research and get "knee deep" in the election apparatus that happens all year round. Many hands are needed for open and fair elections.
We need to know about the vast problems in our election system and how to recognize arising issues. Everyone enjoyed the intensive training and left better prepared to support Election Integrity through Poll Observing and Judging. Look for more training as we progress to November and don't forget to sign up on NCEIT.org.
