The Forsyth County Republican Party wishes you a Happy Passover and a Blessed Easter. During this Holy Week for both Jews and Christians we should turn off the TV/electronic devices and spend time with friends and family. Put aside your political differences and concentrate on the important things in our lives – friends and family and God. We plan to do that. Enjoy the holidays and we will see you next week.

Passover celebrates family, friends, faith, and freedom. It commemorates the miracle of the Israelites’ exodus thousands of years ago from slavery in ancient Egypt.
Passover reminds us we all must cherish and safeguard the most precious parts of our lives.

Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, the only begotten son of God, who was raised from the dead three days after he was crucified.
Jesus died for our sins and through this we can be saved by believing in him.
