CHAIRMAN'S CORNER

Ken Raymond, Chairman

Hello everyone,

I’d like to personally invite all of you to the 2022 Forsyth County Convention on Saturday, March 19th at the Village Inn Hotel and Event Center at 6025 Ramada Drive in Clemmons. Registration begins at 8:30 am.

This is a very important election year, and we need your help to stop far leftist ideology from encroaching any further into our institutions and our society. As a registered republican, you can make your voice heard within the GOP by signing up to be a delegate to the district and state conventions.

Additionally, you can volunteer to serve on any of the county party’s standing committees such as our Voter Integrity Committee, Precinct Organization Committee, Local Government Watch Committee, or you can volunteer to help protect the ballot by serving as a precinct judge or poll observer.

And you can meet our republican candidates for school board, county commissioner, the North Carolina General Assembly, district court judge, and many offices that will be on the ballot this year.

Our keynote speaker is Jonathan Uzategui, Vice Chair of the NC Hispanic Republican Coalition. He will be speaking on the topic of “The Crimes of Socialism"

Jonathan is a native of Venezuela which was destroyed by the same Socialist/Marxist’s ideologies that are trying to destroy this great nation.  He travels across the state and talks about taking a stand for our country before it's too late.

VOTER INTEGRITY COMMITTEE
TARGETED OUTREACH COMMITTEE SUPPORTING VETERANS
This week the Targeted Outreach Committee reached out to two local organizations that help Veterans. We delivered drinks and refreshments to Veterans Helping Veterans Heal (VHVH) and to the Veterans Cup, which hosts coffee meetings. VHVH serves homeless veterans in our area by providing them with a safe, secure home, physical and mental health and a community that understands and supports them. The residents are guided in education and job programs to help them rebuild their futures. The Veterans Cup meetings are held from 8:30-10:30 am on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday morning of each month at the American Legion Post 55 on Miller Street in Winston-Salem. All veterans and their family members are welcome to attend for this time of fellowship.

If you would like to help the Targeted Outreach committee with providing a meal for the residents  of Veterans Helping Veterans Heal (between 20-24 men) or be involved in other outreach activities in our community, please contact Targeted Outreach Committee Chair Colleen Lopina at [email protected].
