Reasons to Support the FCGOP $22 for 2022 Campaign
Happy New Year to all Republicans in Forsyth County!
I hope you all enjoyed your time with your friends and family during the holidays. I certainly did and so did my wife, Vertie. But now that the holidays are over, we all must continue the fight for freedom against encroaching communism by way of the Democrats, the media, big tech, and their allies. A fight that I’m more than willing to join and I’m sure you’re willing to join it also.
As you know, the North Carolina Supreme Court has suspended candidate filing for the elections this year. Apparently, the 4-3 Democrat majority on the court is determined to help the Democrats, in the General Assembly, find a way to reject the constitutionally draw maps of the Republicans. We expect filing to resume during the second week of this month, but we’ll have to wait and see if the “Sue until Blue” Democrats shall continue their efforts to block the will of our constitutional republic.
But while many of our republican candidates are waiting to file, there is something we can all do to support their efforts this year. Last year, the FCGOP executive committee committed to supporting our “$22 for 2022” campaign. The campaign simple asks republicans to donate $22 monthly, to our local party, to help support our candidates. And now, we’re asking for as many registered republicans as possible to join us in our monthly commitment.
Why should you commit to donate $22 monthly?
As we proceed into 2022, the reasons for your support become clearer and clearer. I’m sure you’ve all heard the recent announcement from retired district court judge Denise Hartsfield who intends to run for Forsyth County District Attorney against Republican incumbent Jim O’Neil.
Would any of you be surprised if we learned that Denise Hartsfield is supported by far-left billionaire George Soros? The ultra-left financier has supported Democrat campaigns for District Attorney for the last decade including races in Sacramento, Los Angeles County, Philadelphia County, Milwaukee County, and many others. What do George Soros prosecutors have in common? They embrace the Soros brand of “criminal justice reform” which means they will not prosecute criminals.
In every county that’s elected a “George Soros District Attorney”, the worst of the county’s criminals are not prosecuted for their crimes, and they’re quickly released back into society free to terrorize hard working citizens. Additionally, rioters are free to spread anarchy with impunity. We certainly do not want the outrageous lawlessness that we see in New York, Chicago, Detroit, or Kenosha, Wisconsin to happen here in Winston-Salem. If there were only one reason to support us, this year, this would be the reason.
Reclaim the Forsyth County School Board for Parents
The Democrat majority on the Forsyth County School Board has made it clear that they believe they make better choices for school children than their parents. For almost two years, many parents have felt powerless against them. But now is the time to sweep them off the school board and return the parental decisions to parents.
So please, log onto the FCGOP donation page here and help stop the encroachment of communism here in Forsyth County.

As Republicans we hold the Constitution near and dear but often don’t know much about it. Well, we have Christin McMasters Ph.D. “The Liberty Belle” coming to speak for us on the constitution! Here is what she thinks about the Constitution and speaking on the Constitution: “My goal with this … is education. I seek to arm fellow lovers of liberty with knowledge, knowledge that is painfully lacking and desperately needed. Knowledge first and foremost of the Constitution. The Constitution is our government’s job description and we are the government’s employers. How can we hold our government accountable to their job if we don’t even know their job description?” Please join us for a great time with fellow patriots!
