CHAIRMAN'S CORNER
Election Protest Appealed to the State Board
By Ken Raymond
First, I’d to thank everyone for your support during this election year. We had some big wins locally and statewide, specifically Jim O’Neil who was re-elected as our district attorney, and we also won a majority of seats on the North Carolina Supreme Court.
None of this would’ve been possible without your help and for that I thank you. However, I’m writing primarily to update everyone about the election protest filed with the board of elections.
As I’m sure you are aware, myself, Tina Saliba, Zack Watkins, and Tiffany O’Donnell filed a protest on November 18th. And the reason was because of a massive security breach in all 108 tabulators, throughout Forsyth County, on election night.
The breach was due to the widespread distribution of an override password that allowed access to administrative functions to each tabulator. And since election night, we discovered that the password has been circulating since early October.
The preliminary hearing was last week, on Wednesday, November 23rd, and the Democrat majority on the local board of elections decided not to hear us. They voted, 3-2, to dismiss our case because they erroneously agreed to base their decision on administrative guidelines instead of election law.
But we did not stop there because our case must be heard. So, on Tuesday, November 29th, we appealed to the state board of elections and a meeting of notice, from the state board, should be published soon.
There are about 72,838 registered Republicans, in Forsyth County, and 269,823 total voters. And regardless of party affiliation everyone should know whether the 2022 midterm elections, in our county, was secure. And we intend to find out if it really was.

THANKSGIVING DELIVERIES TO FIRST RESPONDERS
Due to the generous donations of Forsyth County Republicans, the Targeted Outreach Committee was able to make more donations to our first responders to thank them for their service and wish them a Happy Thanksgiving. The deliveries were made last week to two police stations and to the Lester E Ervin Fire Station Number 4 on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

LATINO REPUBLICANS COMMITTEE MEETING
The Forsyth County Latino Republicans Committee will hold their next meeting on Wednesday, December 14th at 7 pm. The meeting will be at the FCGOP headquarters at 300 Jonestown Road. Everyone is welcome to attend.
KERNERSVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE
The Forsyth County Republicans will have an 18 wheeler truck/float in the Kernersville Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 4th. We need volunteers to march in front of the float or to ride on the float. Being in the parade is a lot of fun and the Republican Party float is always well received in Kernersville!
The parade begins at 2:30, but volunteers need to arrive between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm. We will begin decorating at 12:30 pm and we welcome volunteers to come whenever they can before 2:00 pm. The parade will begin at the corner of Pineview Drive and Hwy 66/East Bodenhamer St. The parade will continue down Mountain Street and end at Kernersville Elementary School.
All volunteers are to park at the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce parking lot and walk down to the starting area of the parade. The Chamber's address is 136 E Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284.
Anita Moody, the Forsyth County Republican Women's Club president, is our group leader and her phone number is 276-326-2032 in case you need to contact her the day of the parade.
