Concerned Mother Finds Sexual Material in Forsyth County Elementary School

Recently, a concerned mother logged into the online reading account of her 10-year-old son. Her son attend’s Vienna Elementary School in Forsyth County.

She was shocked to discover that not only did the school provide copies of sexually explicit books for her son and other students, but some of those materials were banned by the American Library Association. Additionally, our concerned mother discovered that the school provides students online access to a wide variety sexually graphic reading material.

The concerned mom was prompted to investigate after repeatedly hearing Lieutenant Governor Mark Keith Robinson speak about inappropriate materials in schools. In June, while speaking at Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove, the lieutenant governor referred to these books as “filth” and said that they have no place in our schools.

Based upon what our concerned mother has seen, Lieutenant Governor Robinson is absolutely right. However earlier this month, Democrat State Senator Jeff Jackson, from Mecklenburg County, called for Robinson to resign for his comments. Jackson was later supported by Attorney General Josh Stein and Governor Roy Cooper. So, it appears that Senator Jackson, AG Stein, and Governor Cooper are in favor of students at Vienna Elementary School being exposed to sexually graphic material whether in book form or via online access.

Among the actual books found by our concerned mother were “And Tango Makes Three”, “Olive’s Ocean”, and “Rick.” Among the books her son has online access to are “Julianne is a Mermaid”, Mabel is a Label”, “Hurricane Child”, and “The Biography of Ellen DeGeneres.”

And Tango Makes Three” is a story about two male penguins that fell in love but were unhappy because they couldn’t have a chick of their own. By the end of the story, they find a chick and raise it. This book clearly introduces the idea of same sex relationships to elementary school children. “Olive’s Ocean” is filled with curse words, sexual references, and the characters display continuous disrespect towards their parents. Characters in the book “Rick”, which was also banned by the American Library Association, dehumanize, and objectify women by referring to their breasts as “sexy pancakes.”

Julianne is a Mermaid” promotes the lifestyle of drag queens; “Mabel is a Label” supports the concept gender fluidity; “Hurricane Child” promotes the lesbian lifestyle; and we all know the story of Ellen DeGeneres.

According to our concerned mother, a vast multitude of other inappropriate books is accessible to her son via the school systems online library. And this is just one Forsyth County school. If concerned mothers, throughout the city and county used their children’s online reading account and accessed it, what would they find? Which of these unsuitable and completely inappropriate books can be pulled from their library shelves?

I strongly urge parents to do this. Get your child’s login information, access his school’s online library, and find out what’s being made available to them in school and what they can access online. It may explain any recent behavior you’ve been wondering about. And if you want to expose it, feel free to contact us.

The title of Lieutenant Governor Robinson’s report is “Indoctrination in North Carolina Public Education” and he could not have chosen a better title. These books serve no educational purpose at all, they only serve to indoctrinate children and desensitize them to perversion. They condition their minds to accept same sex couples, profanity, lewd behavior, disregard for parental authority, cross dressing, lesbianism, and many inappropriate things that have nothing to do with a good education.

What will our concerned mother do? She doesn’t want her son to have access to books like this. And after she witnessed how a majority of the members of the school board disregarded and completely dismissed the concerns many parents raised regarding whether their children should wear masks, she questions if that majority truly has her son’s best interest at heart.

In our last edition, I recommended an alternative to parents. It’s illegal for an adult to expose children to sexually explicit material. And making it available online may qualify this as a federal crime. And parents do not have to surrender the minds of their children to any institution that appears to be teaching them to accept perversion. They don’t have to accept whatever damage may be done to their children and try to clean up the mess later.

So, if a majority of the school board doesn’t listen to her or others like her, or the school administration does listen to them, I recommend that parents call the police—or in this case the Sheriff’s Department.

And I stand by that recommendation. If anything, this is one topic that should unify everyone. Republicans, Democrats, Blacks, Whites, and Hispanics. Everyone should agree that sexually explicit material does not belong in elementary schools. And since the beginning of the pandemic, unfortunately, more and more of our elected officials appear to have adopted the belief that they know what’s best for their constituents and their children and don’t have to listen to them.

Our concerned mother is aware of my recommendation, but I don’t know if she’ll do it. But I do know that parents do not have to accept this from the school system and their own elected officials.
