EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS AND HEARS ABOUT FCGOP'S BOLD NEW EFFORTS FOR CANDIDATES

The members of the Forsyth County Executive Committee were pleased to hear that their county party is exploring new frontiers when they met, earlier this week, at Agape Faith Church in Clemmons.

During the meeting, the chairman gave a “State of the Party Address” and told the committee members that during the last year and a half, the Forsyth County Republican Party has blazed new trails in the areas of fundraising, financial support of candidates, community outreach, voter registration, and communications.

FCGOP STREAMING ADS

The chairman also informed the committee members that, for the first time in the history of the FCGOP, the party purchased two political ads which will be seen on streaming channels. The first ad is against Democrat Senator Paul Lowe, in Senate District 32, and the second encourages voters to support Forsyth County GOP candidates. Click here to see both ads on the party’s official Facebook page. Both are still being reviewed before sent to streaming channels.

The speaker for the evening was District Attorney Jim O’Neil who talked about the importance of defeating his opponent, Denise Hartsfield, to keep Winston-Salem among the safest cities in the nation.

Afterwards, the committee elected Melissa Thompson is the party’s new secretary. Additionally, Mike Owens, Dr. Christin McMasters, and Reggie Reid were appointed to the Plan of Organization Committee.
