JOIN THE FCGOP CAR CARAVAN

Saturday, October 12, 2 PM
Raindate - Sunday, October 13, 2 PM
Meet in the parking lot behind the FCGOP Headquarters
300 Jonestown Rd, Winston Salem

The FCGOP will be promoting our Republican candidates and values through a car caravan. Everyone is invited to join in the fun! This has been a popular event in California, Florida and other states. We'll be meeting in the parking lot behind the headquarters at 2 pm and decorating our cars with patriotic decorations and Republican candidate signs. Then we'll drive as a caravan on a prepared route on heavily trafficked streets throughout Winston-Salem such as Hanes Mall Boulevard. If we have enough people participate, we'll also send groups to the Clemmons/Lewisville area and to Kernersville.
You do not need to have a fancy car or vintage automobile to participate - all types of cars are welcome! The driving directions will be given to each participant and you'll just follow the car in front of you. Please bring patriotic decorations if you have any (flags, red, white and blue streamers, banners, etc.) and some decorations and the candidate signs will be provided by the FCGOP.
If you have any questions, please contact Caravan Coordinator Preston Chaffee at [email protected].

LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN TO HISPANIC VOTERS

Hispanic Letter Writing 2

The Forsyth County GOP Community Engagement Committee and the Forsyth County chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly recently teamed up for a letter writing campaign to local Hispanic Unaffiliated voters. The group developed a letter in Spanish and English explaining how Republican values align with traditional Hispanic values and encouraging the letter recipients to vote Republican. Each letter had a handwritten message and included a flyer in Spanish and English describing the differences between the Republican and Democrat platforms. The 300 letters will be mailed in hand addressed envelopes in early October.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this possible!

FCGOP SUPPORTS FIREFIGHTERS ON 9/11
WE WILL NEVER FORGET

911 5

Thanks to the generous donations of time and food items from Forsyth County Republicans, we were able to deliver 270 goody bags to 16 fire stations around the county to show them our support and appreciation on 9/11. Each goody bag contained snacks, a water bottle and a thank you note from the FCGOP. A big thank you to the Forsyth County Young Republicans Club for packing the goody bags and to the following volunteers who made the deliveries - Kimberly Williams, Tina Saliba, Terri Mrazek, Pat Shouse, Tommy Barnouw and Yvonne Williams. The firefighters were very appreciative!
