WALK FOR VICTORY

WHEN: EVERY SATURDAY UNTIL ELECTIONS

WHERE: FCGOP Headquarters, 300 Jonestown Rd. Suite 10, Winston-Salem

TIME: 8:30 Breakfast and Walk the Neighborhood

The most important things we can do for our candidates’ victory are to WALK neighborhoods and to make PHONE calls.  Nothing else will “trump” this!  Once you have spoken with a neighbor, they are more likely to vote and to vote OUR WAY.

GET TO KNOW YOUR GOP CANDIDATES

Each week we will be featuring a couple of our 2022 GOP Candidates! To see a full printable list of our candidates please CLICK HERE.

This Week Is

Michael Owens

Running For

FORSYTH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS - DISTRICT A

"I have lived in North Carolina his entire life! Born and raised in Greensboro, he's been living happily, in Winston-Salem, for over twenty years. I'm like the majority of Americans, I didn't go to law school, I didn't go to medical school and I've never owned my own business. I've spent my adult life working regular jobs, just like most of you!

But, what I DO have, is the willingness to make tough decisions for the good of Forsyth County and many tough decisions will have to be made!

I promise that I will, if elected, support the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of North Carolina and do the job of County Commissioner as it's described in our States statutes. Forsyth County does not work for the federal government and I will stand up for the citizens of our County against federal overreach.

It’s my hope that if you’ve read to this point, you agree with me and that I can count on your support. I look forward to hearing from each of you."

VOTE RED IN 2022! VOTE OWENS!

Michael Owens

Also Being Featured This Week Is

Reginald Reid

FORSYTH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS - DISTRICT A

"I grew up on a dirt road in eastern North Carolina. Where I learned the values of faith, hard work, patriotism, and that the the American Dream of opportunity is open to everyone. I have BA in History from the College of Charleston an MBA from Liberty University, a Master of Arts in Government from Regent University and I am a doctoral candidate at Walden University. My dissertation examines the application of Servant Leadership Theory and the formulation of public elder care policy.  I am currently employed with Novant Health."

VOLUNTEER - IT'S TIME!!
We are making phone calls every Tuesday from now until Election Day from 4-6pm.  Please come to train and make your calls during the week from home or join us Tuesday evenings.  Pizza and snacks are provided!  We are currently offering a $100 GAS CARD for the caller who dials the most in a 2-week period.  In a Biden "build back better" environment, a gas card is just what you need and making these calls is just what our Republican candidates need.  It's a WIN for both!

UPDATE FROM SCHOOL DRIVE
Just an update on our 1st school supply drive. We had enough supplies to fill 14 huge shopping bags with supplies and $100 in cash that I used to buy those Ticonderoga #2 pencils everyone always needs. My husband, David and I delivered to 3 schools that Yvonne Williams had identified as the most in need: Easton Elementary, Forest Park Elementary and Kimberley Park Elementary. They were thrilled with all the goodies. I’m hoping we can do this again before the 2nd semester begins. Thanks to everyone that donated and helped bag and put in my car!
-Pat Kleinmaier

FIRST RESPONDERS RECOGNIZED BY FCGOP
In the days leading up to 9/11, Forsyth County Republican volunteers brought goody bags and thank you cards to 25 fire stations, 5 police precincts and the Sheriff's Office. The first responders were very touched by this outpouring of support. Thank you to all of the FCGOP donors and volunteers who made this project possible!

FIESTA FESTIVAL OUTREACH A BIG SUCCESS
Despite the rainy weather, the Forsyth County Republican Party booth was a big success at the FIESTA Festival on Saturday, September 10th. We distributed flyers about the differences between Republicans and Democrats to 200 people and we handed out material about Republican candidates. Lots of conversations were had with individuals and several people signed up to get involved with our newly founded Latino Republican group. Thank you to all the Republican candidates who stopped by throughout the day to speak with voters and to the volunteers who staffed the booth!

PICK UP YOUR SIGNS AT HEADQUARTERS!

On Tuesday, September 20th all candidates will be allowed to display yard signs in public places. But let’s not wait until then. You can place a yard sign at your home today. And after the 20th, we can place signs in public venues.

So, please remember to stop by our headquarters at 300 Jonestown Road Suite 10 and pick up your Ted Budd sign, and our other candidates signs, and show your support!

ELECTION COMMITTEE

Headquarters is open and we need your help to open it more often, answer the phone, greet visitors, work for our candidates, plan events, secure the Election, and make sure every legal vote is counted!

THE FCGOP EXPANDS ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE

By Ken Raymond

As you all know, the big names in social media such as Facebook and Twitter, have joined the effort to censor those of us that believe in the first amendment, and they’ve driven away many like-minded conservatives from their platform possibly never to return.

Well, hopefully we can find a few of them and get them to join us. The Forsyth County Republican Party has recently increased its presence on social media, this week, and launched a new official Facebook page.

The FCGOP can be found now on Gab.com and Truth Social.  To join us on Gab.com click here. And to join us on Truth Social click here. Our current official Facebook page will shut down on October 9th. But for those of you the follow our current page, you can join our new official page by clicking here.

All of our pages will feature the latest local, state, and national news that you can trust. Additionally, we will post the FCGOP’s upcoming events and activities. Please join us on any of these platforms to connect with your fellow conservatives and feel free to engage in healthy and respectful debate.
