The Targeted Outreach Committee is planning to honor our firefighters and police in memory of 9/11. We will bring them goody bags with snacks and a thank you note in each bag, as we did last year. Our goal is to pack and deliver 500 goody bags and we can use your help in several ways:

  • Donate items for the goody bags such as granola bars, small packages of chips, crackers or pretzels, candy, or small 10 oz bottled water (the large ones won't fit in the goody bags). Items or cash donations can be dropped off at FCGOP Headquarters, at the Forsyth County Republican Women's Meeting on August 25.
  • Help stuff the goody bags on Wednesday, August 31, 10 am-12 pm at the FCGOP Headquarters Building, 300 Jonestown Road.
  • Help deliver goody bags to a fire station or police station.

Please email Colleen Lopina at [email protected] if you can help in any of these ways.

OVER 100 ATTENDED HEADQUARTERS OPEN HOUSE

WOW - thanks to all 100+ of you who attended the FCGOP OPEN HOUSE.  What a thrill to hear from our candidates and recognize Ron Joyce and others who are financially supporting HQs.

We all had an adrenalin show in the arm (not to confused with the "JAB") by Senator Krawiec and Representative Zenger as they present what we all know ....we need a SUPER MAJORITY, take back the School Board, support our County Commissioner candidates and re-elect Jim O'Neill for District Attorney.  We need to send our current 6th district representative HOME and send Christian Castelli in her place.  With more hard work, phone calling, and walking, we can DO THIS.

A big shout out to all the volunteers who worked hard to make our OPEN HOUSE a success.  You are so valuable!  Thanks to Perry Hudspeth, Assistant Treasurer, for his donation of our raffle.  (the winner remains a secret)  lol  AND it was NOT rigged!  ha

Please contact us at [email protected] TODAY to see how YOU can help.  There are many opportunities and you can work as much or as little as you want.  We hope it is "as much".

THE FCGOP EXPANDS ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE

By Ken Raymond

As you all know, the big names in social media such as Facebook and Twitter, have joined the effort to censor those of us that believe in the first amendment, and they’ve driven away many like-minded conservatives from their platform possibly never to return.

Well, hopefully we can find a few of them and get them to join us. The Forsyth County Republican Party has recently increased its presence on social media, this week, and launched a new official Facebook page.

The FCGOP can be found now on Gab.com and Truth Social.  To join us on Gab.com click here. And to join us on Truth Social click here. Our current official Facebook page will shut down on October 9th. But for those of you the follow our current page, you can join our new official page by clicking here.

All of our pages will feature the latest local, state, and national news that you can trust. Additionally, we will post the FCGOP’s upcoming events and activities. Please join us on any of these platforms to connect with your fellow conservatives and feel free to engage in healthy and respectful debate.
