On the heels of our successful County Conventions, last week Chairman Michael Whatley was thrilled to join several District Conventions, including North Carolina's newest congressional district. The Chairman started off in Super Saturday fashion, joining awesome groups of Republicans in Districts 10, 11, and the newest District 14. NCGOP extends congratulations to the elected chairs of each District: Chairman Jack Simms of District 10, Chairman John Anglin of District 11, and Chairwoman Lee Ann Patton elected to lead the new District 14.
From there, Chairman Whatley headed to District 12, giving an update on the NCGOP's efforts to Get Out The Vote and Protect The Ballot, before joining the District 5 Convention along with Congresswoman Virginia Foxx and an energized group of Republicans. The Chairman closed out the week at the District 6 Convention, feeling more encouraged about Republican organization and enthusiasm every step of the way. Congratulations to newly elected District 12 Chairwoman Karen Bentley, District 5 Chairwoman Lynette Ramsey, and District 6 Chairwoman Tina Forsberg for their excellent leadership.
In between traveling across the state, Chairman Whatley conducted some great media interviews to advance NCGOP's winning message, and readied himself for yet another busy week advancing the Republican cause across North Carolina. |
